A Personal Note
I
have at times thought of myself as 'an unknown dervish'. Born to an Austrian
father and a Russian mother I lived in Persia for the first l3 years of my life.
Hence the term Dervish!
Although
not affiliated with any religious order or 'spiritual' path, my passion is in
alignment with that invisible something that gives meaning to my life and the
living of it. I have been known to say that if the pearls on a string each
represent a particular path......my identity, if you will, is with the string
that runs through them.
Since
my early 20's I often sought long periods of isolation quenching what seemed
like a deep thirst for the Beloved or Presence. It was in 1981 during an 11
month isolation retreat in New Zealand when one of the initiatives under the
umbrella of Centre of Life was conceived...Living Schools
Association.
I graduated from California Institute of Integral Studies in l975, and over the
years facilitated a number of "Enlightenment Intensives", Conscious Evolution
study groups and a variety of workshops. As
a holistic psychotherapist
my natural leaning has been of a transpersonal nature.
